Terms of service

Last updated: May 21, 2026

These terms apply to every Tazzen product and service. By creating an account or using a Tazzen service you accept them.

1. Definitions

Tazzen is the provider of the Tazzen products and services, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 57064245, at Weustenraadstraat 11, 6136 TA Sittard, Netherlands. A Service is any SaaS product offered by Tazzen. A User is anyone who creates an account and uses one or more Services. An Account is the personal account created and managed through Tazzen Identity, the central single sign-on system at account.tazzen.com.

2. Scope

These terms apply to all Tazzen products regardless of which app you access them through. Creating an account or using a Service means you accept them. Individual products may have additional product-specific terms; where they conflict, the product-specific terms prevail.

3. Account and registration

You need an account, created through Tazzen Identity, to use the Services. One account gives you access to every available Tazzen product. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials confidential and for all activity under your account, and you must keep your registration details accurate. Tazzen may refuse or suspend an account where there are well-founded reasons to believe the details are incorrect or the account is used in breach of these terms.

4. Use of the service

You use the Services in line with these terms, applicable law and Tazzen's acceptable use standards. Tazzen may restrict or end use of a Service in case of a breach.

5. Availability

Tazzen aims to keep the Services available as much as possible but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability; it is provided on a best-effort basis. No Service Level Agreement is given unless separately agreed in writing. Tazzen may take a Service offline temporarily for maintenance or updates and will try to announce planned maintenance in advance.

6. Intellectual property

All intellectual property rights in the Services, platform, software and documentation belong to Tazzen or its licensors. You keep all rights to the data and content you enter, and you grant Tazzen a limited licence to process that data only as needed to provide the Service. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer or decompile the Services.

7. Liability

Tazzen's liability is limited to direct damage and is capped at the amount you paid Tazzen for the relevant Service in the twelve months before the event causing the damage. Tazzen is not liable for indirect or consequential damage, lost profit or lost savings, nor for data loss beyond Tazzen's reasonable control (such as force majeure, third-party failures, cyber-attacks or natural disasters). These limits do not apply to damage caused by intent or deliberate recklessness of Tazzen's management, and apply to consumers only to the extent permitted by mandatory law.

8. Privacy

Tazzen processes personal data in line with the GDPR. See the privacy policy. Each Tazzen product also has product-specific privacy information available through that product.

9. Termination

You can delete your account at any time through Tazzen Identity, which ends access to all Tazzen products. Tazzen may suspend or end an account if you breach these terms or the acceptable use standards, use a Service unlawfully, or if continued use poses a risk to Tazzen, other Users or third parties. Tazzen will notify you of a termination for breach unless that is not reasonably possible or advisable.

10. Data deletion on termination

After your account is deleted, all personal data and user data is removed from Tazzen's active systems within thirty days. Data subject to statutory retention obligations is kept for the legally required period and then deleted. Backups are cleared in line with Tazzen's regular backup policy.

11. Changes to these terms

Tazzen may change these terms. Changes are announced at least thirty days before they take effect, by email or a notice within the Service. Continued use after that means you accept the changed terms; if you do not agree, you can delete your account.

12. Governing law & disputes

Dutch law applies to these terms and any agreements arising from them. This does not deprive a consumer of the protection of mandatory law or of the right to bring a dispute before the courts of their country of residence.
